Fear of spelling? Start singing

As a woman who ventured into the world of blog writing, I first had to overcome my fear of making a spelling mistake (or three) and then being ridiculed by all the excellent spellers that I know!

I came across this wonderfully catchy song from ABC 123 – perfect for anyone out there who can’t tell their there from their they’re! Confused? Watch the video, have a good laugh and then watch it again until the simple tricks stick! You’ll be humming along to the melody while learning how to avoid making the same spelling errors over again.

It might even inspire you to cultivate your own love of words and start writing yourself. I believe that we all have an amazing story inside of us and sharing them is what makes us grow.

There are many great support sites for people wanting to start writing. One website I love and have used many times is www.odesk.com. It has a worldwide selection of editors, copywriters and creatives to help get you started.

I am living proof that with practice and perseverance, you can improve your writing skill and enjoy the thrill of crafting that beautiful paragraph.
