Princess Kate Maternity Style
Kate Middleton recently had her last public appearance before she begins her maternity leave; the Royal baby is due in July!
Since the announcement of the Duchess of Cambridge’s pregnancy, we ladies here at WMS have been captivated by Kate’s maternity fashions. As we reach the end of her pregnancy, here are some of our favorite pre-baby outfits.
ANIMAL PRINT Let’s start with the end. Kate’s last public appearance was at an event for Princess Royal Cruiselines.
It should be noted that Kate’s black and white animal-print coat isn’t even a maternity item, despite the Duchess being in her eighth month of pregnancy. Consider us in awe!
FLORAL While visiting a primary school in Manchester, Kate paired this floral-printed Erdem dress with navy heels. So cute!
EMERALD GREEN Our first glimpse of Kate’s baby bump was in 2012 when she visited the Mons Barracks in Aldershot, near London.
She donned this emerald Emilia Wickstead coat with a pair of black tights and a black turtleneck.
MORNING SICKNESS At the beginning of her pregnancy, Kate visited a London hospital for acute morning sickness.
She looked reasonably tired but nevertheless sophisticated as she exited the facility in this baby blue scarf and plaid coat.
JERSEY DRESS This darling gray jersey dress from MaxMara was worn in the middle of February with pearl earrings and a pendant necklace. Kate was visiting the Hope House in London to support the charity Action on Addiction.
BEFORE AND AFTER Our next sight of the bump was when Kate visited a coastal town in Northern England called Grimsby. She wore a brown coat from Hobbs which she cinched at the waist with a matching brown belt. A black clutch and black pair of heels complement this outfit.
PERFECT IN PEACH Kate was certainly glowing when she visited a children’s hospice in Hampshire. This bright coral-colored ensemble beautifully highlighted her rosy skin tone
LIGHT BLUE While attending a party at the National Portrait Gallery in London, Kate wore a baby blue Emilia Wickstead dress that made her look incredibly youthful and energized.
POLKA DOT PRETTY And we saved our favorite for last. Kate wore this black and white polka dot dress from Topshop when she, Prince Will, and Prince Harry were guests at the Harry Potter Studios. After this visit, the adorable dress was, of course, sold out that very same day.
