Hi, I’m Janelle,

Women, Money and Style, is a website which has a lot to shout about on being financially savvy in real girl terms. Having worked in retail development for 14 years, I know all the tricks of the trade, including how we’re encouraged to spend at every turn!

WMS is a bit like your personal trainer, but where your personal trainer’s focus is on fitness and health, ours is on living smart, stylish and financially free.

We’ll do this by talking to amazing women, on all things women, money and style. We love a ‘try on’ and through many outfit changes we’ll (hopefully) inspire you to revamp outfits already in your wardrobe. But (most importantly) we’ll talk about living financially free and demonstrate how just a percentage of your wage saved can work for you and help on that rainy day.

I love to get value for my money and so should you. If the events of the last few years have taught us anything, it’s that we have to take responsibility for our own finances. There’s no denying it, it’s time to wise up. Regardless of what we earn we must watch what we spend and protect our wealth.

None of us can predict what the future holds, but we can make sure we’re prepared to face everything – good and bad – that life will throw at us.

WMS began as a blog- an entertaining story looking at life, love and wealth through the eyes of four fabulous expat women living in Dubai. Lucy, Abby, Sasha and Kat are household CEOs, career women, mothers and wives who have so much more in common than just 365 days of continuous tax-free sun. They are the women of the 21st century. They are women who, like all of us, are fuelling the next financial decade, or what many experts now refer to as the ‘She-conomy’.

If you’re a woman, wanting to be smarter with your money and wealth creation, then this little blog serves as great inspiration to get in touch with your financial self and ensure that you’re protected no matter where you live.
